Snowy Sunday!
We woke up to a cold and snowy morning! It was quite cold today- we are not exactly used to it yet. There doesn’t seem to be any drains in the streets, so the rain (from last night) and the snow stays on the streets and makes for some interesting puddle jumping. We had a chance to go to the department store and buy some games for the kids; Dawn and Craig we used your money for some well needed warm house shoes (slippers; see new pictures) The kids were thrilled! We are in early tonight and Doug and I are going to watch a movie on the laptop. Hope you all have wonderful week! Thank you all so much for your help and support. We have looked forward to getting comments on the Blog and emails- you have no idea how much they are appreciated! Today we went to an internet café and I tried to get the Souderton Independent on line, but I had some trouble. We love you Nate and Rachel! Rachel- take a look at what we got for you today!

Hi! Doug and Glenda,
We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner at Craig and Dawns. We all ate too much as usual!! We went over to the playground as is our yearly tradition. You should have seen Rachel on the monkey bars, she is quite good. She was the center of attention and we all clapped for her when she finished her performance. (She even had her fancy sandles on.)
We dropped Nate off at your home on our way home. He wanted to do some homework and then watch the game tonight. You can be quite proud of him, he is quite a special young guy.
We really enjoyed talking to both of you today. Hearing your voices completed our Thanksgiving celebration. Even though the Eagles lost we did not let it ruin the rest of the day.
The weather there looks quite cold and wintry. Sure hope you took plenty of warm clothes. We had a brisk but beautiful day with plenty of sunshine.
Sure hope you have a really good week and that you can be home very soon. We miss you all. Our prayers will continue to be with you.

Glenda and Doug,
Well, after reading your "Day Seven" message, sobbing, looking at pictures, and doing some more sobbing (David wanted to know why my eyes were so puffy)I just can't stop thinking about how lucky Daniel Valera is, and wondering how you can bring the rest of his family of friends home for the rest of us to love. You taking this on has been so moving for me; the orphanage is so fortunate to have visitors like you to be willing to share so much of yourselves. The pictures are great - we feel like we are there with you! Continue to take good care of yourselves and that sweet new son of yours. God bless you all - Holly and family

Dear Doug and Glenda...
Well, we are stuffed! We had a very nice time being together today enjoying our Thanksgiving Feast...Craig did a wonderful job cooking Mr. Turkey and we all enjoyed eating Mr. Turkey! We will freeze dinners for you all to enjoy when you come home...we missed you all and enjoyed talking to you both today...thanks so much for choosing the warm slippers for the precious children...we will keep them in our prayers. Take care dear ones and it was wonderful having Nate and Rachel...we just love those two...
